We are enjoying our module on narrative writing with teacher, Sr Mary and Ms Sharkey. We have been doing lots of preparation and soon we will start to write our own stories. We will be editing, redrafting and publishing our own stories.

Christmas fun

On Thursday we had our Carol service. We sang Oh Holy Night in English and in Irish and some of us played Oh Holy Night on the tinwhistle. We also sang Walking in the Air. We did a wonderful job and teacher was so proud of us. We wore our Christmas clothes. Here are some pictures of us.
 

 

We did some lovely Christmas art. We had fun with printing. We made lovely Christmas trees and we made our own relief prints (like stamps) out of foam, then we used them to make our own wrapping paper .

 

 

 


We had so much fun doing our kris kindle or 'secret santa' in class. The best part was we got to stay in at lunch time to do it. Then we had fun watching a Christmas movie 'Santa Paws'.

Volcanoes

  • Grease medley
    We sang our grease medley and did a dance for our visitors from South Africa and for the rest of the school. Here's a video of us
